The injection molding process is the main process of MIM technology, which can be divided into the following main steps:

①feeding process: before the injection molding, the screw speed and the pressure in the cylinder have been set, the mold is closed, the push rod shrinkage.

After the injection, the nozzle is close to the flow path and the screw is pushed forward. At this time, the locking ring and retaining ring at the front of the screw are closed to ensure that the feeding tube is extruded and the mold cavity is filled after the feeding is compressed. When there is enough feed at the front end of the drum to fill the cavity, the screw stops rotating.

②Glue and injection: feed in the barrel is heated to a certain temperature will melt, and then into the mold.

③ pressure protection: when the screw to the top of the nozzle, the process of pressure on the feed is called pressure protection process, it is the last stage of feeding in the mold by the machine control. As the pressure in the cavity increases, the feed flow rate decreases. When the feed cools, the mold filling process is over.

④ demoulding: the last step of injection molding is to take the forming billet out of the mold, this process is called demoulding.
