Feature：Most earphone back covers are made of SUS304L. 304 stainless steel is a common material in stainless steel. Its density is 7.93 g/cm3. It is also called 18/8. It resists high temperature of 800 C. With good processing performance and high toughness characteristics, this stainless steel is widely used in factory production, furniture decoration and food and medical industry.

Stainless steel 304 is commonly marked as 0Cr18Ni9 and SUS304. 0Cr18Ni9 is generally referred to as national standard production, and 304 is generally referred to as ASTM standard production, and SUS 304 is referred to as daily standard production.

SUS304 is a versatile stainless steel, which is widely used in the manufacture of equipment and components requiring good comprehensive properties (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the inherent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, steel must contain more than 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It is a brand of stainless steel produced according to American ASTM standard.

If you want to make metal components by MIM, you need to send us the parts drawings, including PDF and 3D files in which, we can see the shape, sizes, tolerance and other requirements such as surface treatment, hardness(HRC). Also, we need to know the quantity for the part. Because to make MIM items, the mold is important. To make a mold is around 3000--5500USD that based on the shape, so if the customer have several parts to produce, we suggest to put them in one mold to save cost.
