Feature：We are a military MIM factory with license. As to MIM, besides iron, stainless steel and steel, tungsten alloy is another wide used material. Surface treatment is one important section for metal injection molding. There are several common surface treatment processes.

Polishing treatment

The surface roughness of workpiece is reduced by mechanical, chemical or electrochemical action to obtain bright and smooth surface.

Electroplating treatment

The process of attaching a metal film to the surface of a metal or other material by electrolysis. Electroplating can prevent metal oxidation (such as rust), improve wear resistance, conductivity, reflectivity, corrosion resistance (copper sulfate, etc.) and improve aesthetics.

PVD treatment

It is a process of transferring atoms or molecules from the source to the surface of the substrate by means of physical. Its function is to make some particles with special properties (high strength, wear resistance, heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, etc.) sprayed on the matrix with lower performance, so that the matrix has better performance.

MIM technology can make various kinds of metal parts. If your part is made of stainless steel, steel, iron and the shape is complex, MIM is the best choice. If you want to make metal components by MIM, you need to send us the parts drawings, including PDF and 3D files in which, we can see the shape, sizes, tolerance and other requirements such as surface treatment, hardness(HRC). Also, we need to know the quantity for the part. Because to make MIM items, the mold is important. To make a mold is around 3000--5500USD that based on the shape, so if the customer have several parts to produce, we suggest to put them in one mold to save cost.
