What Is The Process Of Stainless Steel Injection Molding?
May 22, 2020

Stainless steel is the abbreviation of stainless acid-resistant steel. It is resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, water or stainless steel types called stainless steel; and steel that is resistant to chemical media corrosion (acid, alkali, salt and other chemical corrosion) This is called acid-resistant steel. Due to the difference in chemical composition of the two, their corrosion resistance is different. Ordinary stainless steel is generally not resistant to chemical medium corrosion, while acid-resistant steel is generally stainless. Injection molding refers to a model with a certain shape, which is injected into the cavity of the molten state by pressure to form a mold.

The principle of the process is: the solid plastic is melted at a certain melting point, injected into the mold at a certain speed through the pressure of the injection machine, and the mold is solidified by cooling the water channel to obtain the same product as the designed cavity. It is mainly used for the molding of thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics.

What is the process of stainless steel injection molding? In fact, it is a very simple process. The stainless steel injection molding process generally includes: feeding-plasticizing-injection-cooling-demoulding.
