When 20Cr carburizing is carried out in gas carburizing furnace, uneven carburizing layer often occurs after discharge. In this paper, the problems of carburizing 20Cr rotor in a factory are analyzed: the tooling is carburizing cylinder, the rotor is flat, there are 9-10 rotors in one layer, there is a gap between layers, there are 5-10 mm, the whole cylinder is filled, one furnace is equipped with two cylinders, there is no problem in the carburizing layer, but it is not uniform, do not know where the problem is? Is the fan bad? Or is there a problem with the rotor placement? Now they are going to rebuild the two furnaces with a computer control system, including carbon potential, pressure and osmosis control system. They planned to use the vacuum multi-purpose furnace, but they put too much money into it.

  If this problem is deep uneven, we can consider the following aspects: 1. Is the furnace loading too large? 2. Is the atmosphere circulating evenly? 3. Is the temperature treated by gas carburizing furnace uniform? 4. Whether the droplet amount of carburizing atmosphere is reasonable (possibly small) 5, and whether the cooling method after carburizing is reasonable.
