Surgical Conventional Scalpel Handle

Feature:

Material: 17-4PH, also we call them X5CrNiCuNb16-4, AISI 630, NF S94-090, UNS S17400 or sus 630. It have special performance compared with other stainless steel like SUS316L, because 17-4Ph material could have hardness after age hardening 40-44HRC. Then it should be more wearable and not easy deformed in annealed condition. But we could quote you the same price to improve the item quality.

Tolerances: for hole less than 2mm, polished, could reach h8. hole more than 2mm, cold drawn, polished, could promise ISO h7. Surface finish Ra 0.4(N5).

Surface treatment: vibrate grinding or manual polishing. For this MIM surgical scalpel, the surface is the most important because they are all exposed and skin-contactable surface. Any rusty and irregularity are not allowed.

Density ≥7.75g/cm3. This 17-4PH material for scalpel handles by MIM proecess  is standard and have its own mechanical property. If you need any other requirements, we could adjust this because our engineers is very professional on this we have laboratory to study this.

Advantage: The surgical scalpels could be final shaped for one time and do not need other process. If very precious tolerance, the holes of smart and electric spring bolt could be drilled and CNC mahcining. Often we could promise hole 4mm with+-0.03mm tolerance with MIM process.
