Feature:As to the closing angle and slider, burrs are a serious problem in the production process of MIM moulds. It is a problem for the moulding workers. In order to prevent it, the co-work well between all closing angles and sliding areas is important. Only in this way can we produce a high quality MIM part. The tool manufacturer must calculate the rolling dimension by using the triangle method, and then apply this knowledge to check the closing angle of the positive and negative steel to ensure that it is within the tolerance range of (+0.0001) of the calculated dimension. The tolerances must be very accurate for metal tools, because the MIM tool feeding parts are easy influenced by the burrs. If plastic parts have a burr, it is easy to be removed, but if it is metal, the burr will cause problems like a knife blade.

MIM technology can make various kinds of metal parts. If your part is made of stainless steel, steel, iron and the shape is complex, MIM is the best choice. If you want to make metal components by MIM, you need to send us the parts drawings, including PDF and 3D files in which, we can see the shape, sizes, tolerance and other requirements such as surface treatment, hardness(HRC). Also, we need to know the quantity for the part. Because to make MIM items, the mold is important. To make a mold is around 3000--5500USD that based on the shape, so if the customer have several parts to produce, we suggest to put them in one mold to save cost.
